Surfer's Paradise Vacation

Finally got to see a Cockatoo or three.
So beautiful!
Movie World...Hollywood on the Gold Coast.
James so excited to go and see Shrek in 4D.
Kayla in her super cool 4D glasses. Although the funniest part was when a little boy walked up to her and said, "Hi Patrick!" We laughed so hard and then made fun of her all weekend. That will teach her to wear her Patrick shirt to a theme park.
Western style 'gangstas'!
Hollywood Strunt Driver show.
Look mom! We're on the jumbotron.
Very cool show!

Here is the description of this scary ride from the website. "SUPERMAN Escape is an unprecedented rollercoaster ride experience which travels 0-100 kilometres (62 mph) in just 2 seconds! That's not fast that's SUPERMAN fast! With 760 metres (2,493 feet) of vertical climbs, weightless drops, head spinning twists and giant G-force turns, SUPERMAN Escape completely redefines the coaster experience."

Brooklyn wasn't tall enough to ride and James wasn't brave enough to go. He took the pics and I don't think that he realized the camera was on manual focus.
Yes, Tyler, Kayla, Sierra, and I are in this picture going almost 100 Km/h.
This is my HOLY CRAP, we survived look.
This guy was cool. His wife said that it takes her 2 hours to get him ready every night. Hope the money he makes is worth it.
The beach was incredible. I was amazed at how many people were there.

Brooklyn
Brooklyn and Kayla
This is the wave that caught James off guard and had us both saying "Son of a Beach, there go his $200 prescription sunglasses"
Body surfing. They all had fun doing that.
My sand creation while they were all body surfing.
James trying to be funny by pretending to step on my turtle.
Brooklyn's sand castle.
I think that she had a little too much fun destroying my turtle.

She was a little shocked when I told her she could jump on it and then we had to tell that was enough.

And now the
Piece
to
Resistance...
You ready ladies?
Here is a little eye candy for you...

He He! Just kidding!

I can relate to the little boy and the Patrick comment. When I saw the Easter picture and Kayla had that tshirt on I thought the same thing! I just didn't want to say anything but now that it's out there. ;) Looks like the beach was awesome.

That beach looks so inviting!! I love the warm sand in my toes. The stunt show looked like it would be fun too. Glad you all had a great time!
