We had another busy week. I had my first test on Monday. I passed it, which all I was hoping for. I have also passed all of my skills check-offs the first time around. James went to Denver yesterday and will be there until Wednesday. Then he is leaving for London next Saturday and will be gone until the following Sunday. The kids have already been assembling their Christmas lists. I think that they have forgotten about Halloween. Brooklyn had a grandparent celebration at school on Friday and they sang and signed "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. I was in tears. It even got to James a little. It is so hard seeing our baby doing all of these grown-up things.
James and I went to a local fruit stand and bought some corn. It was so delicious that Brooklyn ate 3 pieces and I think she got more on her face than in her stomach.
Our neighbors moved out this week and they threw away a bunch of stuff, so the girls decided to go dumpster diving and brought home this net thing. I am not sure what it is supposed to be used for, but the girls use it to kick the soccer ball into. Well, Kayla tries. She misses most of the time. I think that she is just kicking too hard and the ball goes too high.
